In our intimate elopements we are your Planners, Celebrant, Bridal Party, Hype Team, Witnesses and Bag Holders!! We will hold your dog leads, keep your champagne on ice and choose the most perfect ceremony location for your day!! We are experts at reading Weather Apps and know all about tides, winds and swell... it's helpful to have a frothing Surfer on the team!! We welcome your guests into your chosen space, get them ready to celebrate and make sure they're in the right places for your photos. Tarnie is the Boss Lady!! She has your back the entire way from your initial enquiry and aligning you with your Vendor Team. Tarnie will be planning a seamless elopement or Micro Wedding experience and then will be meeting you when you arrive for your ceremony, with a bouquet in hand, a calming energy and the perfect playlist on play!!
Benjamin is a highly sought-after Celebrant and has performed over 1000 ceremonies, both large and small. His passion lies in helping couples kick-start their Marriage Ceremony experience in an authentic and awesome manner. Ben helps create a unique ceremony to suit your vibe and style, kick your Legal Goals, plus he'll help make sure your Vows are ready to rock!
Established in 2016 - Hitched in Paradise was born from an idea of providing intimate yet stylish marriage ceremonies, for those who didn't want to invest in a big wedding. Its co-founder Benjamin Carlyle, a popular Marriage Celebrant in the Gold Coast to Byron Bay region, was witnessing the movement of many modern couples choosing to Elope up here in paradise. Benjamin teamed up with his gorgeous wife Tarnie, who has 20 years experience in co-ordination and design. Tarnie comes from a creative background in the Film and T.V. Industry, working directly alongside A-list stars, her organisational skills are guru status and she has a wonderful calming nature when the pressure cooker fires up! Together they're a super happily married couple, loving life with their two healthy and adventurous boys. And Panda the wonder dog in their home on the Tweed Coast.
